Meet Our IEw teacher

Annalise Marreiros

Annalise is a teacher with a zealous enthusiasm for writing. She ardently believes that words are the very foundation of communication and human connection. Therefore, teaching such a noble and vital subject must be done with the utmost care. Annalise holds a BA in English and Creative Writing, which fuels her passion for storytelling, poetry, and academia. Inspired by the years her father was a teacher, she also seeks to play a part in students’ education and lives. Annalise has assisted students in their academic journey for multiple years, and she finds that her teaching style focuses on building confidence and persistence in the face of hardship by overcoming obstacles patiently, one step at a time. This leads to what Annalise enjoys most about teaching: the way a student’s eyes sparkle with delight when sharing with others a creation they are proud of.

A Little About IEW

In order to succeed in every area of life, children must hone the skills needed to communicate confidently and effectively. Through the process of learning to write well, students learn how to think clearly and to express themselves eloquently and persuasively. Our goal is to equip you to assist your child in this process.

IEW is a writing program that guides the student to acquire the skills to become confident and competent communicators and thinkers. Using the four language arts—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—IEW methods have been proven to be effective for students of all ages and levels of ability, including those who are gifted, have special needs, or are English language learners.
